Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept any of the following cards: Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Switch/Maestro, Solo, and Mastercard. Card details are transmitted over a secure (SSL) link and stored using 128-bit encryption. JEC uses secpay, paypal and nochex. In addition, you can also pay by personal cheque or BACS.

A delivery date will not be confirmed until funds have cleared.

All prices quoted are fully inclusive of VAT and are correct at the time of data-entry. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. If your item is not in stock or we will be delayed we will contact you first so that you can decide how to proceed. In either case we will always notify you as soon as possible.
Shipping And Handling All prices quoted include shipping and handling costs. In the event of failed deliveries please see "delivery schedule" and for returns please see "returns policy". This is with the exception of Britannia Cooker Hoods: delivery is included if you buy with your Britannia Oven or another large appliance. If you wish to buy separately please email us first for a delivery price. This is also with the excetption of the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Accessories - for these delivery is included if you buy with your KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer or another small appliance. Again, if you wish to buy separately please email us first for a delivery price.
Delivery Schedule Delivery is to Mainland UK, we can deliver to N Ireland for an additional £10 delivery charge for small appliances only. We arrange delivery of your order right away. We will advise you of the approximate delivery date within 1 working day of your order being placed. We aim to deliver your goods within 7-10 working days of your order being placed (unless you have requested a specific delay).

For all large appliances the delivery address must be accessible to a high sided 7.5t commercial vehicle. If there are any vehicle restrictions on approach to the property ie width restrictions, low bridges, we must be advised when you place your order. In addition, please ensure that you advise us of any parking, waiting or loading restrictions at the delivery address. All deliveries will be made to the front/side or rear access of the property and will be delivered to the point of access. Drivers are restricted from entering the customer's property ie, if a flat the driver must be met on the ground floor. In addition deliveries can only be made where a responsible adult is available to sign for the goods.

If you wish to change the delivery date please ensure that we have at least 2 working days notice. Where large appliances are delivered and there is no-one to receive them then there will be a charge for failed delivery (please note this is only when a delivery has been pre-arranged whereby the depot contact you direct) of £42 the cost to us.

For appliances listed under the "Small Appliances" section please ensure that you provide a delivery address that is occupied Monday to Friday 9-5pm. These appliances are delivered by DHL and need to be signed for, a work address for example is often used. In the event of a failed delivery, i.e. no one being available to receive the goods there will be a charge for failed delivery of £8.95 (the cost to us).

If you wish to cancel your order please advise us at least two working days prior to your planned delivery date and you will receive a full refund.

Goods must be inspected on delivery - in the unlikely event of goods being damaged we must be advised within three working days of delivery.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges All prices quoted include VAT at 17.5%.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee i) All of our products come with at least a one year manufacturer's guarantee.
ii) Customers from the European Union are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive

Privacy Policy JEC Appliances do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Returns Policy Goods can be returned to us up to 7 working days from the date of delivery in line with the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm Goods must be returned in their original saleable condition and there will be a charge for collection of £42 for large appliances (the cost to us) and for small appliances the goods must be returned to us at a specified returns address. In addition the cost of the original delivery will also be deducted (£42 for large appliances and £8.95 for small appliances).

Goods must be inspected on delivery - in the unlikely event of goods being damaged we must be advised within three working days of delivery. Please note also that in the unlikely event that your product develops a fault please contact us in the first instance with your order number so that we can advise on the next course of action. Please note that for all Hostess, White Knight and CrossLee products any delivery damage or fault found after three working days will result in an engineers visit to assess.
